Kind words from families I’ve supported
“Andrea came into our lives when my daughter Reina was a newborn. I thought we’d have her for a couple of weeks—just a bit of support in those early days. But she stayed with us for a year and a half. That’s how special she is.
She didn’t just help me—she became part of our family. She loved Reina like her own, and Reina adored her. I’ve never trusted anyone as much as I trusted Andrea. That’s not easy for me. But with her, it just felt right.
She’s so calm, so kind. Nothing is ever too much. She’d look after Reina, prepare us dinners for the week, hoover, hang laundry, drop off so many Amazon returns to the post office - she even did nursery drop offs when Reina started doing short days there. She never complained, and was always happy to take instruction and do things in the particular way I asked (I’m a very fussy person!).
I honestly don’t know who I’d be as a mother without her. She gave me space to breathe and rest, and was instrumental in helping me get back to my career postpartum.
There are very few people in this world like Andrea. I feel so lucky to have had her.”

I feel incredibly lucky to have had Andrea by my side during my pregnancy and after the birth of my first baby. She’s more than a doula — she becomes part of your support network.
From the early days of pregnancy through to those tender and often overwhelming moments after birth, Andrea was there. Her unwavering support, both mental and physical, meant the world to me. She was a calm presence, a voice of reassurance, and a source of strength when I needed it most.
One of the things I’m most grateful for is her support with breastfeeding and her cooking skills!
Thank you, Andrea, for everything. You made such a difference in this journey — your care and kindness will stay with me forever.

“Andrea worked with our family for a year and a half, and it was an absolute pleasure to have her in our home during my second maternity leave. With no family nearby, I found my first maternity leave quite challenging—but having Andrea with us the second time around was a game changer.
She offered thoughtful advice, helped with shopping and cooking, and cared for my baby when I needed rest or time to myself. I have always been very protective of my children, but I had complete trust that my baby was in safe hands with Andrea.
Beyond her practical help, Andrea was warm, kind, and easy to talk to. I really enjoyed our conversations and her presence in the house. We have missed her since we moved out of the area!
I would highly recommend Andrea to anyone needing support during the postpartum period—she made such a positive difference for our family, and bringing her on board was one of the best decisions we made.“

“I am delighted to provide a reference for Andrea Soler-Jansik, who supported me and my family for a long time (from 2018-2019 and 2022-2025). She started as a doula with my middle child and we asked her to come back to support us around the birth of our third child. As Andrea became such a welcoming person in our family, she stayed with us for longer (after my third child turned 1 year old) as a nanny and was an invaluable helping hand in supporting our hectic family-life with the three children, including one child with special needs.
As a doula, I have enjoyed Andrea’s engaging style from the moment she started with us: she brings a truly warm and calming presence into the home, making both mother and baby feel at ease. One of the things I appreciated most is her sensitivity to meet all the different needs in our family, both emotional and practical.
Andrea has instinctively responded well to both of my babies and was an invaluable encouragement with breastfeeding. She connects with babies in a gentle and respectful way and adjusts to the rhythm and the moods of the baby in terms of knowing when to offer comfort, stimulation or simply a calm environment. Andrea also made sure to make the sibling(s) feel seen and cared for and a fun and natural way. Her genuine care and attentiveness also stood out in all she did for me as a mother – from thoughtful conversations to offering wholesome meals. Andrea is a wonderful cook. Her food is delicious and nourishing, made with attention to dietary preferences and postpartum needs. Having someone who could provide such a nutritious food was an incredible booster during those early days after birth.
I wholeheartedly recommend Andrea to any family seeking a compassionate, skilled and deeply supportive doula. She brought warmth, wisdom and care and I feel very fortunate to have had her by our side.”

“Where do I even begin to describe the incredible impact Andrea has had on our family? When my little one was a newborn, I was navigating some really tough challenges, from acute sleep struggles that left me exhausted to difficult breastfeeding hurdles that compounded those challenges I faced as a new mom. But from the moment Andrea walked into our home, a sense of calm walked in with her.
It’s not an easy thing to welcome someone into your space during such a vulnerable time, let alone entrust them with your most precious tiny person. But Andrea has a gift. She instantly put not just me, but also my baby, completely at ease. Her presence is warm, safe, and reassuring. It wasn't just about having someone who's incredibly knowledgeable in the house; it was about having a caring, fun, and deeply intuitive person who my baby felt at ease with.
She met every challenge with patience, knowledge, and unwavering support. She didn't just offer solutions for my baby's sleep and feeding issues; she educated me, empowered me, and gave me the confidence to trust my own instincts.
She helped me put more thought into my well-being as well, particularly by gently encouraging me to rest, to eat, cooking lovely hearty and nutritious meals and lent me her own recipe books, so I can keep exploring myself.
Now, with a thriving, happy toddler, I look back on those days with so much gratitude. Andrea's support was the anchor I needed. She is more than a doula; she is a nurturer in every sense of the word, and we feel endlessly lucky to have had her in our corner.”
